2020 Ian Purdon Memorial Scholarship

Description
The Ian Purdon Memorial Scholarship fund has been established to honor the memory of Ian Purdon and to recognize a San Luis Obispo High School Football Senior.
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria1) Applicant is currently a senior at San Luis Obispo High School (SLOHS); and,
2) Applicant is currently a member of the SLO High School football team; and,
3) Applicant is planning to pursue a post-secondary education at a community college, four-year college/university or vocational school.
Selection Criteria
a) Demonstrates an attitude of perseverance in practices and games; and,
b) Contributes to the SLOHS football program by modeling dedication to team members; and,
c) A team player with a primary goal to take part in a college football program at any level; and,
c) Applicant need not be an accomplished or honored athlete, but one of the many unsung members of the SLOHS football team.
Presentation of the Scholarship will be announced at the Annual San Luis Obispo High School Football Banquet. The financial award will be sent upon enrollment to the college/university/vocational school chosen by the recipient.
