OPEN ENROLLMENT UNTIL FULL
MedSTEM Explorers is a 6-week program that focuses on career exploration, college readiness, and career readiness. Students will attend classes two days a week on a variety of topics and present a capstone research project at the end of the 6 weeks. 
Students will engage in hands-on learning to strengthen communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. In addition to skills development for high education and career, students will have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials.

By integrating technical knowledge and social emotional learning, MedSTEM Pathways leverages experiential learning for self-efficacy, job readiness, and leadership in the STEM/healthcare fields. 

Program Orientation: June 26, 2020
Program Duration: June 30 - August 6, 2020
Tuesdays & Wednesday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Funding Source: Afterschool Matters

**You must complete the Afterschool Matters application and select Rush MedSTEM Pathways A, B, or C as one of your three programs of interest. Please only select one of the programs**

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 weighted GPA
FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES ONLY
Preferred 85% + Attendance Record
Preferred students (not required) to attend or be applicable for at least one of the following:

Juarez Community Academy
Instituto Health Sciences Academy
North Grand High School
Michele Clark Magnet
Participant of the MedSTEM Pathways Summer Pre-Internship program
Participant MedSTEM Pathways Summer Internship program
Previous participant of the SAME Network program
Engaged with one of our community partners
Be from the Rush Anchor Communities (60607, 60608, 60612, 60622, 60624, 60639, 60644, 60647, 60651, 60302, 60303, or 60305)
