Eric "Boomer" Clemence Annual Scholarship

PROGRAM DEADLINE: March 01, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST (Midnight) - CLOSED

This program is inactive or past the deadline.

Description

HISTORY
Eric “Boomer” Clemence was born June 5th, 1983 to Bill Clemence and Becky Clemence (Myers.)  Boomer attended Three Rivers schools and had a notable athletic career in wrestling and soccer.  His family, friends, and teammates would describe him as full of life, always a smile on his face, a blast to be around, and a loving son, brother, and friend. After high school, a bit unsure of his life’s path, Boomer spent time in the Navy, before returning to Three Rivers and working at Lasco Bathware. This scholarship is made possible due to an annual celebration of life golf outing, supported by his family and friends.  After high school Boomer developed a strong love for golf and was on his way to play a round when he passed in a car accident in 2007. This scholarship is intended for a Three Rivers High School graduate. The ideal recipient would be a student, unsure of the exact future of his/her life, but motivated to learn a skill or trade through a community college or other comparable trade program. The Eric “Boomer” Clemence Annual Scholarship is intended to carry on the memory of our buddy, brother, and son, Boomer, and support a Three Rivers High School graduate in their pursuit of a positive future path.
