HISTORY
This scholarship was established to honor James E. Clark and his life dedicated to business.  James “Jim” graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1964.  He spent the first five years after college in sales and as a store manager for Goodyear Tire Company.  In 1969, he co-founded Central Mfg. Services with his father, Charles E. Clark.  The business continues today, run by third generation Charles J.S. “Jamie” Clark, who worked with his father.  Jim was very knowledgeable in business and believed in enjoying and having fun at work and always said, “The best investment you can make is in yourself and your own business.”

PURPOSE
To provide financial assistance to students pursuing his/her continuing education in the fields of marketing, management, or business.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship shall be in the amount of $500.

Requirements

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants for this scholarship must satisfy the following criteria:

  1. Graduation from Three Rivers High School
  2. Minimum 2.75 GPA in high school
  3. Continuing education in marketing, management or business
  4. Participated in the Distributive Education Club of America (DECA) Program
  5. Be available for a personal interview with the scholarship selection committee, if needed 
INSTRUCTIONS
Complete the required information.  All information submitted will be kept in the strictest confidence.

  • Scholarship Application must be submitted by March 15, 2022 for consideration.
  • Provide one (1) letter of recommendation from a business or professional person.
  • Include a copy of your school transcripts.
