Description

Undergraduate members of Psi Upsilon Fraternity are eligible to apply for grants awarded to those members who demonstrate a commitment to moral, intellectual, and social excellence in their chapters, on their campuses, and in their communities. Grants for the 2021-'22 year will be $1,500 or more.

Requirements

Since the program seeks to recognize and reward significant achievement over a sustained period, the recognition and assistance provided by these awards are limited to upper-division undergraduates. Applications will be accepted from undergraduate members of Psi Upsilon Fraternity who meet the following criteria for the academic year 2021-'22:

1. Is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student on the campus where their chapter is located;

2. Were initiated as a member of Psi Upsilon Fraternity before October 1, 2020;

3. Will enter their junior year, senior year, or final year of a 3-2 or similar undergraduate program of study in 2021-'22 leading to a degree;

4. Will reside in the chapter's residential facility (if any) during the period for which grant assistance is awarded; and,

5. Grants will not be made available to award recipients during times for which they are enrolled in a study abroad or off-campus programs.

For 2021-'22, the committee hopes to make awards to approximately 20 individuals totaling $30,000 or more. The total number and amount of awards will vary depending on the quality of the applicant pool.
