You work hard at school, at home and in your community. You have demonstrated your desire and ability to overcome barriers and achieve your goals. You have big dreams for your future and an unwavering commitment to learning -- and have never allowed circumstances to define you.The Dream Big Fort Worth: Determined Scholar Award is a scholarship program created to provide Tarrant County students who have overcome adversity with resources and experiences to continue to excel in college and beyond.
2021 Dream Big Determined Scholars may receive:
- ACT/SAT preparation courses
- Monthly sessions focused on college application preparation, academic and college success, financial literacy, and health and well-being
- Personalized mentorship from senior year of high school through college graduation
- Scholarship up to $20,000 over four years
Requirements
• High school junior set to graduate in June 2022 from a Tarrant County public school
• Demonstrated need for financial assistance
• Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles
