HISTORY
This scholarship was established to honor Charles E. Clark and his business endeavors. Co-founder of Central Mfg. Services, Inc., Charles was a man with 45 years of experience in the corrugated box industry, 31 years with Inland Container Corporation and 14 years with Weyerhaeuser Corporation.

Charles E. Clark was married to Bethel “Gangie” Clark, who was the backbone to his success. Charles was known for his management skills of methods and standards, personnel, and manufacturing efficiencies. Charles believed “If companies are to be successful, they must encourage their personnel to emphasize the need of good working relations. The essence of such an approach is contained in these three words: Friendly-Understanding-Listening.”

PURPOSE
To provide financial assistance to students pursuing his/her continuing education in the fields of business or engineering.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship shall be in the amount of $500.

Requirements

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants for this scholarship must satisfy the following criteria:
  1. Graduation from Three Rivers High School
  2. Minimum 2.75 GPA in high school
  3. Continuing education in business or engineering
  4. Be available for a personal interview with the scholarship selection committee, if needed 
INSTRUCTIONS
Complete the required information.  All information submitted will be kept in the strictest confidence.
  • Scholarship Applications must be submitted by March 1 for consideration.
  • Provide one (1) letter of recommendation from a business or professional person.
  • Include a copy of your school transcripts.
