2021 Community Grants Program

Description
The Community Grants Program is the local grantmaking program at the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln. The program accepts funding requests for ANY charitable focus area, in Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, and Sangamon County.Multiple grant awards of up to $5,000 will be made from the Community Grants Program.
Applicants will be notified of the funding decision by early September.
Proposals that do not contain all requested items, if applicable, will NOT be considered.
Requirements
The submitting organization must be a:• 501(c)(3) charitable organization,
• faith-based organization (proposals must benefit all, regardless of religion, and be for a service provided which is not religious in nature),
• public or private school (proposals must be for projects that exceed the school’s budget funding), or
• some government entities or municipalities may be eligible.
Geographic limitations: Funds must be used for programs and services primarily assisting residents of Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, and/or Sangamon County, Illinois.
