2023 Inter-Pacific Exchange Team Manager Application

Description
The USPC Inter-Pacific Team will join teams from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. The International Teams consist of four members and accompanied by a Team Manager and Coach.The exchange will take place in New Zealand and runs January 8 - 26, 2023. Please note international travel may require additional days for travel and training before departure.
USPC is seeking an individual capable of being away for more than 2 weeks, with experience in international travel and leadership/organizational skills.
Requirements
The Team Manager must:• Be knowledgeable about Pony Club and a current USPC Corporate Member.
• Be familiar with and supportive of USPC policies.
• Have personal qualities that make you a good mentor/chaperone/ambassador of USPC.
• Not be a parent of a team member.
• Be at least 30 years of age.
If selected, Team Managers must also successfully complete the USPC Background Check, Safe Sport Training, Heat Illness, and Concussion Training and become a Corporate Member of USPC, if not already one.
An effective Team Manager must genuinely like young adults, be comfortable with them, yet maintain their respect. He/she also needs to have flexibility, objectivity and the ability to deal calmly with issues as they arise. (Throw in a little patience and humor and you have a saint!)
