Undergraduate Merit-Based Scholarship

Description
To help members reach their educational goals, the Kappa Delta Foundation provides undergraduate, graduate, and leadership scholarships to Kappa Deltas. Last year the Kappa Delta Foundation awarded a total of $842,735 in scholarships to deserving Kappa Delta collegians and alumnae. These scholarships are made possible by generous donors.
The deadline for the Undergraduate Merit-Based Scholarship application is January 15, 2023 at 11:59PM CST. Awards are announced summer 2023. Applicants may only receive two undergraduate academic scholarships in their lifetime. Note: Corre Anding Stegall Collegiate Leadership Award scholarships do not count towards lifetime scholarship totals.
Upon submitting this scholarship application, applicants will automatically become candidates for any merit-based scholarships for which they qualify. If you want to be considered for a need-based scholarship, you must fill out a need-based scholarship application (linked separately on the website).

Requirements
- Recipients must be an active member, on good standing, of Kappa Delta.
- Recipients must be enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited university for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Applicants may only receive two academic undergraduate scholarships in their lifetime. Note: Corre Anding Stegall Collegiate Leadership Award scholarships do not count towards lifetime scholarship totals.
- All applications are graded based on the categories: academic success, leadership and involvement (Kappa Delta, campus & community), work experience, and personal development (awards/honors & personal statements).
