Description
The Maureen Mo Clancy Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of Maureen Mo Clancy. Mo lived to help others and will forever be remembered as a strong-willed, loving and passionate person. She will forever be in the hearts of those who loved her, and with this scholarship, her legacy of service, love and compassion will live on. The scholarship will provide support to girls who participated during high school in cross country and/or track and field and who will pursue a post-secondary education.Requirements
Eligibility Criteria:a) Applicant is currently a senior girl at a San Luis Obispo County high school; and,
b) Planning to attend full-time at an approved community college, four-year college or vocational school.
Selection Criteria:
a) Participation during high school in cross country and/or track and field
b) Submission of an essay describing what the sport meant to you; and,
b) Demonstration of satisfactory academic achievement (2.0 or greater); and,
c) Demonstration of school and community involvement.
This is a one-time award.
