Description
To provide a scholarship support to graduating AVID senior(s) from Arroyo Grande and Nipomo High School.Requirements
Eligibility Criteria:a) Applicant is currently an AVID senior at Arroyo Grande or Nipomo High School who has participated in the program three of their four high school years; and,
b) Applicant has been accepted to and will attend an accredited four-year college or university; and,
c) Applicant has earned a minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale; and,
d) Applicant has demonstrated financial need.
Selection Criteria:
The qualifying senior will be evaluated on the following:
a) Academic Record; and,
b) Leadership or involvement in their school or community throughout their high school years; and,
c) Commitment to higher education despite personal and/or financial obstacles.
