AGC Outstanding Student Chapter Contest: New/Emerging Student Chapter Award

Description
The New/Emerging/Resilient Student Chapter Award serves to highlight new and emerging Student Chapters that are successfully building their membership and engagement, increasing their involvement in the construction industry and partnering with their local AGC chapter.The winning AGC Student Chapter will receive a $2,000 cash prize, four (4) complementary student registrations and an additional $1,000 travel stipend to attend the AGC Annual Convention. All AGC Outstanding Student Chapter Contest applicants will be given the opportunity to showcase their Student Chapter at AGC's Annual Convention on March 13- March 16, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV.
Students will be evaluated on:
1. Growth in Program
2. Engagement
3. Partnership with AGC
4. Grammar, spelling and completeness of the application
5. Photos/Media/newsletters

Requirements
The New/Emerging & Resilient AGC Student Chapter Award serves to highlight chapters who are successfully building their membership/engagement, increasing their involvement in the construction industry and partnering with their local AGC. New Chapters are those who have been in operation for three years or less (charter date is no earlier than 2018); Emerging Chapters are those who hold a charter prior to 2018 but have gone inactive for a period of time and have been reactivating their chapter within the past three years.
