Description
The Outstanding Public Engagement Award recognizes a water provider that has implemented an effective program to engage and educate residential and/or commercial end users on smart and efficient technologies and best practices related to outdoor water conservation.This award is presented by Smart Water Application Technologies, a committee of the Irrigation Association.
Requirements
- The applicant must be a city, county or utility that has implemented a program to promote outdoor water conservation.
- The program must be focused on engaging and educating commercial and/or residential end users.
- The program must be currently active or implemented after January 1, 2022.
