2024 USHJA Instructor Credential Grant Application

Description
The USHJA Instructor Credential was developed to offer a comprehensive educational program for riding instructors to include an online library as well as an in-person workshop and examination. To support members in their pursuit of personal and professional goals, the USHJA is pleased to offer grants to eligible USHJA Instructor Credential participants who complete the online coursework and attend a Live Workshop and Examination.
Grants in each zone will be awarded on a first come, first serve merit basis to be determined by the USHJA Zone Committees and evaluated individually. Grants of all sizes are permitted but will not exceed $500. In order to be considered for this grant, one must meet the requirements, complete an application, and submit all other required documents to USHJA.
Total grant amount awarded per Zone will be up to $1,000.
The grant only applies as a reimbursement towards the online coursework and live session program fees paid.

Requirements
In order to be considered for the grant, a member must meet the requirements, complete an application, and submit all other required documentation to USHJA no later than:October 1, 2024 at 11:59pm ET. Grant applications may be approved pending attendance at an Instructor Credential Live Workshop and Examination location.APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
1. U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
2. Current active member in good standing with USHJA above the Outreach level
3. Age 18 years or above
4. Must be enrolled in and attend an Instructor Credential Live Workshop and Examination within the same year the grant is awarded
