This grant is being brought to you by Farmers State Bank. Farmers State Bank is Linn County's largest family-owned financial institution, with current assets exceeding $1 billion. FSB has seven locations, including its main facility in Marion and offices spanning Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, Alburnett, and Tiffin. This grant will give educators up to $250 reimbursed for classroom items they have personally purchased. If you are an educator and have used your own funds to purchase for your classroom, please complete this application to be awarded up to $250 in reimbursement of items for your classroom. This can include anything purchased that is used for your students in the classroom such as headphones, games, books, and art supplies.

The total funds available for this grant are $25,000. Once this is depleted, this grant will close until next year.

Requirements

In order to be reimbursed for these items you must complete the following:

Submit receipts for all purchases of which you are requesting reimbursement. Receipts are considered in good order when it includes:
  •     date of purchase (must be 06/15/2023 or after)
  •     vendor
  •     items purchased
  •     purchase total (including any taxes/shipping expense)
  •     payment method
If your receipts do not include the above items, payment will not be made until the submission is made to be in good order.

We cannot accept Amazon screenshots, please submit the invoice.

Include a short description of the item and what it will be used for in the classroom. Items eligible for reimbursement must have impact on students.

Please note, food & beverages and traditional supplies (staplers, pens, pencils, etc) will NOT be considered for reimbursement. Additionally, we are unable to reimburse purchases from the Teachers Pay Teachers website due to copyright infringement and lack of alignment to curricular materials. If your reimbursement includes any items that need to be connected to the Linn-Mar network, you must have this approved by the IT Department prior to purchase.

This is a one-time submission, meaning if you only have $100 to submit and you are approved, you cannot submit again for the remaining $150.
