Description

Las Amigas Del Morro Women's Club, a bridge club located in Morro Bay was donated property from Manford and Maude Brown in 1931. After the pandemic, the bridge club decided to dissolve and sold the
property. The scholarship has been made in honor of the Brown's for their generous gift.

Open to San Luis Obsipo County residents planning to obtain a degree in any medical field. Can include certificate, associate, four-year or graduate degrees. Demonstrated financial need.

  • Major: Medical field (medicine, nursing, medical assistant, dentistry, dental hygiene, phlebotomy, etc.)

  • Demonstrated Financial Need: Yes
  • Other Requirements: Open to San Luis Obispo County residents
  • Renewable: No
