Description

The Stephen Donnellan Moss Memorial Scholarship in Journalism Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students at California Polytechnic State University- San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly). Steve Moss founded two alternative weekly newspapers on California's Central Coast (New Times and Santa Maria Sun) and created the 55-word short-story contest that brought entries to the New Times from as far away as Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
