2024 Community Foundation Scholarship Program

Description
The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge offers over 100 scholarship opportunities, which will distribute more than $250,000 this year. Our scholarships benefit graduating high school seniors and adult learners seeking new skills and higher education, and includes the pursuit of a technical certificate at a community college or trade school, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or graduate degree. We remain extremely grateful to the generous community members who make this work possible.

- A completed Community Foundation Scholarship Program application
- One letter of recommendation
- Most recent transcript
- Your Student Aid Index - generated by the completion of your FAFSA (for those scholarships where financial need is part of the criteria.)
- It is strongly recommended that you fill out your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible.
- Your completed FAFSA will generate a number called your SAI (Student Aid Index)
- 95% of our scholarships require that you attach your SAI for your application to be considered complete.
