This program is inactive or past the deadline.

Description

AGC Georgia is proud to accept nominations from general and specialty contractors for the 2024 Safety Leadership Award as a way to bring greater awareness to the vital role field supervisors play in the commercial construction industry and to honor the best of the best.

Field supervisors with excellent safety leadership skills are a significant reason why so many construction firms are injury free. Please provide a written narrative and accompanying files in the following pages to complete your firm's nomination.

Entry deadline: Friday, January 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
Entry application fee: $100

*Limit one nomination per company

The Safety Leadership Award is presented in conjunction with AGC Georgia's long-standing Ron Amerson Safety Award Certificate Program. The Amerson program recognizes hundreds of superintendents and foremen who work for association member firms and have no-loss time accidents in the previous calendar year.  The winner (and potential merit honorees) of the 2024 Safety Leadership Award (and honorees in the Amerson certificate program) will be recognized at AGC Georgia's March/April Members First Meetings:
  • March 1 - Marietta
  • March 6 - Valdosta
  • March 7 - Albany
  • March 13 - Macon
  • March 14 - Columbus
  • April 10 - Gainesville
  • April 17 - Augusta
  • April 18 - Savannah

We encourage you to please nominate your field leaders for the Safety Leadership Award and the Ron Amerson Supervisor Safety Award program.

Nominations to the Ron Amerson Safety Award Certificate Program are handled through a separate entry process. More information can be found at www.agcga.org/safety.
