Description

DMEA awards more than $50,000 in scholarships to local high school graduates and continuing education students. The scholarship program is just one of the methods DMEA uses to support our communities. 

Use this application to apply for both the Guzman Lineworker Scholarship and the DMEA Ken Atchley Scholarship.  The scholarship is available to students who are starting Hotline school in August 2024 and also to students currently enrolled in Hotline school who will complete training in Spring 2024.

All schools must be accredited. Ineligible applicants and late submissions will not be considered. This scholarship is non-renewable.

2 or more scholarships will be awarded.

Requirements

Applicants must:
- have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- submit current school transcript.
- submit a current resume.
- fill out an online application including 3 essay questions.
