Description
Jack and Carol Kelly established this scholarship in 2012 to provide scholarships for local students who plan to return and support their community after they complete their education. It is important that the students plan to pursue a degree, certificate, training, or apprenticeship in a vocational, technical, trade or business career.Renewal applicants must reapply each year, and will be considered alongside any new applicants.
Requirements
Students selected to receive this scholarship must:- Have graduated (or be on track to graduate) from a high school located in the four county area of Clark County WA, Clackamas OR, Washington OR, or Multnomah OR, or be children or grandchildren of employees of Instrument Sales & Services, Inc.
- Continue their education at an accredited college, university, career or technical school, or apprenticeship program.
- intend to continue their education at a vocational or technical school, or
- intend to continue their career training through a trade apprenticeship program, or
- intend to pursue a course of study leading to a career in business and
- are working 10+ hours per week
