2024 National Speakers Association Foundation Scholarship Application

Description
Since 1989, the NSA Foundation has made annual scholarship awards for those who have at least Junior status in the Fall of 2024, or working on a graduate degree who have a demonstrated ability in public speaking. Or who wish to use public speaking in their future careers and/or pursue a career in public speaking. The Scholarship Committee is looking for students who have studied or are studying communication or a similar course of study. In addition, consideration will be given to those who participate in activities or organizations where public speaking plays a prominent role. The Foundation grants up to six scholarships of $5,000 each.
The six scholarships offered are named in honor of a renowned NSA members; inlcuding NSA past-presidents, thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, mentors and/or a nationally recognized speakers.
Since the inception of the program almost half-a-million dollars have been awarded in scholarships, grants and student memberships helping students achieve their educational goals while, at the same time, giving back to the communitites where they attend class, work and live.
Requirements
- Be a full-time student, as defined by your institution, from a four-year accredited college or university.
- Have at least a junior status in the Fall of 2024, or working on a graduate degree.
- NSA Foundation scholarships are awarded to eligible students, regardless of citizenship status, who are attending a US based college or university.
- Complete and submit the application by Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST.
