SHPE changes lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. SHPE's network consists of over 18,000 members and 330 chapters across the U.S. By joining and actively engaging in the Academic Partnership Council, institutions demonstrate their commitment to supporting SHPE and making a difference in the lives of Hispanics in engineering and STEM.
Membership includes institutional branding opportunities in a variety of venues. Membership will include one professional membership intended for either the Dean or SHPE Chapter Faculty Advisor, and will vary by type of institution as follows:

| Comprehensive Institutions & Primarily Undergraduate Institutions | $600 |
| Research Institutions | $900 |
Requirements
The APC is designed to be a peer-to-peer interaction at the Dean, or equivalent, level. SHPE recognizes that there are a variety of insitutional structures, please reach out to APC@shpe.org if you are unsure if you're the correct person to pariticipate for your instition if your formal title is not Dean or Interim Dean.In order to participate in SHPE's Academic Partnership Council, you must agree to the APC Membership Agreement linked in the application, complete the application, and submit the membership fee. Please the notes below regarding the application and invoicing.
- Either a Dean or an administrative assistant can complete the APC application.
- The application requests contact information for the Dean, someone to provide branding information if needed, and contact information for whom to send the invoice for payment.
- Payments are completed via an online portal separate from the application process, and payment can be done with a credit card or ACH. Additional information regarding invoicing will be sent within five business days after all components (including branding information if applicable) of the application have been received.
