Description
The AHIMA Triumph Awards are national awards designed to recognize those special individuals who have made a difference in the health information (HI) profession. The AHIMA Triumph Awards honor leaders in the HI field, reward contributions that build our knowledge base, recognize excellence in preparing future HI professionals and encourage fresh talent and new leadership.Component Associations (CAs) are also encouraged to apply for a Triumph Award that best aligns with their state's program and initiatives.

Requirements
Applicants must be a Member of AHIMA. Members of the AHIMA Awards Committee, AHIMA Board of Directors, and AHIMA staff are not eligible for awards during their term of service, even if the service for which they were nominated occurred prior to their term of service or employment. Members of the AHIMA Awards Committee, AHIMA Board of Directors and Staff are not eligible to write letters of recommendation for nominees. Only online applications are accepted.
