Description
This is the application for the Workforce Development Scholarship. This scholarship is for students pursuing associate degrees, technical training or certificates to enter the construction industry. Please review the Criteria Page to ensure you qualify for the Workforce Development Scholarship. Scholarships are $1,000 per year, renewable for up to two years. If you are attending a four year university and intend to earn a Bachelor's degree please make sure to apply for our Undergraduate Scholarship application.All fields labeled with a red asterisk (*) are required to be completed by each applicant. You will not be able to submit your application until these fields have been completed. Appearance, completeness, spelling and grammar WILL BE CONSIDERED during evaluation.
All required supporting documentation (transcripts, test scores, course lists etc.) must be submitted online with your application. Transcripts do not need to be official but, if unofficial, MUST be clearly from the school's website with the name of the university and your name clearly evident. All relevant information must be in a readable format.
A personal recommendation from a teacher or employment supervisor is required with your application. You will request that online recommendation by submitting your recommender's name, title and email address. Please take the time to make sure the recommender's email address is correct. Make sure your recommender knows that you are requesting their recommendation. Recommendations must be submitted online. Recommedations submitted via email or mail will not be considered. You will receive a confirmation email once your recommendation has be submitted online.
You will also receive a confirmation email when your application has been submitted. Completed applications and online recommendations are due no later than midnight on June 1, 2024.
